Position Overview

As a member of our Manufacturing Automation Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and testing of various instruments and systems. This position emphasizes the importance of engineering principles in the creation of reliable and efficient automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute assigned tasks related to electrical system maintenance, including Reliability-centered maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, and Condition-based Maintenance programs.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives and conduct Failure Analysis for electrical and control systems, encompassing sensors, PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and more.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Automation Engineering and Maintenance Engineering, to support small projects and equipment modifications.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School diploma (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, or an Associate's degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLC & Servo systems, ControlLogix, and Vision systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with basic hand tools and testing equipment, including Oscilloscope and DMM.
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems, Ladder Logic, and programming languages.
  • Proficiency in Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Microsoft Applications.
