Job Responsibilities

Key Duties:

  • Acquire and apply business analysis expertise.
  • Identify, propose, and implement innovative solutions.
  • Document business processes in a straightforward and clear manner.
  • Organize and document business needs through User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Participate in or lead requirements analysis and validation, ensuring completeness, consistency, clarity, traceability, feasibility, and adherence to standards.
  • Break down high-level business and user requirements into functional specifications, detailed appropriately for stakeholders.
  • Present requirements using standard templates and alternative formats, such as visual models, prototypes, or simulations, as necessary.
  • Facilitate ongoing prioritization of requirements.
  • Ensure clarity of business needs and requirements among team members.
  • Adhere to Agile and/or Kanban methodologies utilizing JIRA and Confluence.
  • Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans.
  • Manage changes to baseline requirements through effective change control processes and tools.
  • Identify opportunities for reusing requirements across various projects.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional verbal, written, interviewing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with capacity for multitasking.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One to two years of relevant work experience preferred; internships or college projects related to automation or process improvement are advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Visio).
  • Familiarity with Requirements/Change Management, Impact Analysis, and Gap Analysis.
  • Experience collaborating with onshore/offshore teams is a plus.
  • Background in Accident & Health or Property & Casualty Insurance is beneficial.
