Underwriting Associate

**Job Summary**

Quaker Agency Inc is seeking a highly skilled Underwriting Associate to join our team. As an Underwriting Associate - Business Development, you will play a critical role in growing our Personal Lines book of business.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Assist and develop agents to grow the Personal Lines book of business.
• Provide daily broker support functions, including new and renewal account handling.
• Rate new and renewal business across multiple systems.
• Prepare quotes and handle business at binding, including inspection and invoicing.
• Process change endorsements and communicate with clients.
• Read policy language on quotes and policies.
• Coordinate and prioritize tasks to provide excellent service.
• Attract new opportunities to help grow a book of business.

**Requirements**

• Ability to read and understand policy language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of insurance industry and business practices.
