The Regional Director of Facilities Planning and Operations is a key leadership position at OSF HealthCare, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance requirements for all assigned properties. This role requires a strong understanding of facilities management practices, regulatory compliance, and design and construction standards.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Ministry Services facilities management to develop and implement standard facilities management practices.
- Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance strategies are in place for all OSF Healthcare hospitals, medical offices, and support service buildings.
- Design and implement commissioning procedures for new facilities and renovations.
- Develop and manage performance and quality measurement and evaluation programs.
- Lead work groups or project teams to design, develop, and implement changes in organizational structure and work processes.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining approved schedules and good working relationships with OSF clients.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of experience in facilities management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Master's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or MBA.
- Knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, or other performance improvement systems.
- Ability to design, implement, and manage programs for facilities management, preventative maintenance, infrastructure assessment, capital program, energy management, accreditation, and regulatory compliance.
