Job Title: Guest Services Representative

At Omni Hotels & Resorts, we are committed to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Guest Services Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests feel welcome and valued throughout their stay.

Responsibilities:
  • Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Process guest arrivals and departures according to Omni's Moments of Service and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Guest Communication: Empathetically listen to guest inquiries and provide accurate and helpful responses.
  • Account Management: Set up accurate accounts for each guest checking in, including room type, payment, and preferences.
  • Room Blocking and Key Preparation: Block rooms in the computer and prepare key packets for designated guests.
  • Guest Information Sharing: Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments and personnel.
  • Confidentiality and Security: Maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information, and ensure the security of guest room access.
  • Accounting and Settlement: Understand and execute all Omni accounting standards, ensuring accurate settlement of folios, routing of charges, and adjustments.
  • Guest History and Requests: Maintain guest history files and accommodate room changes expediently.
  • Problem Resolution: Document all guest requests, complaints, or problems, and notify designated department/personnel for resolving the situation.
Qualifications:
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work cohesively with co-workers within and outside of your department, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to compute accurate mathematical calculations.
  • Decision-Making and Prioritization: Ability to think clearly, quickly, and make concise decisions, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience required, with hotel front desk experience preferred.

Pay: $33.77/hourly rate
