CV Library presents an exciting opportunity for experienced field service engineers to become part of our dynamic team.


As a leader in the compressed air sector, we provide our clients with innovative solutions, including air compressors, dryers, industrial gas systems, blowers, and chillers.

We are seeking dedicated service engineers to deliver exceptional onsite support to our clientele.

Reporting to our committed Regional Service Managers, the ideal candidates will possess a strong passion for mechanical and electrical maintenance and embrace the challenges that come with the role.

Our service engineers take pride in their contributions and in representing CV Library as an industry leader, ensuring top-notch service and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit client locations to conduct routine and preventative maintenance as well as repairs on various brands of air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and related equipment.
  • Act as a representative of CV Library, promoting our commitment to being First in Mind - First in Choice.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment, identify potential causes for issues, and execute repairs based on assessments.
  • Carry out installation and commissioning of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed using company-provided tools and software.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients.
  • Enhance skills by learning about technologies and products, including VSDs, refrigeration systems, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
  • Address customer needs and strive to meet their expectations.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations at all times while on client sites.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and be prepared to work overtime as needed.
  • Promote the CV Library ethos. Share knowledge and experiences with colleagues to enhance collective expertise.
  • Uphold and practice proper safety protocols and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • Contribute to a positive company image by maintaining a professional and customer-focused demeanor.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mechanical or electrical service.
  • Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid UK driving license or International Driving License (UK license within 12 months).
  • Proficient in computer systems and willing to learn new technologies.
  • Flexibility to participate in the on-call rota.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the designated region.
  • Commitment to maintaining high company standards and image.
