Position: Field Service Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver onsite assistance for the installation, upkeep, and operational support of advanced semiconductor manufacturing and processing machinery.
  • Assess and troubleshoot equipment issues, ensuring timely and effective repairs.
  • Develop and adhere to comprehensive procedural guidelines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to diagnose and resolve technical challenges under tight deadlines.
  • Document troubleshooting processes and findings meticulously.

Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads.
  • Capable of working autonomously or as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and multimeters.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and plumbing diagrams effectively.
  • Familiarity with chemical handling and safety equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Mechanical and electrical proficiency, along with competency in MS Office applications.
  • Must pass a background check as required by clients.

Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to walk, crouch, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and climb ladders.
  • Capable of lifting and moving items up to 35 pounds.
  • Must meet medical requirements for respirator use.
  • Willingness to travel for client support or training.
  • Experience working in cleanroom environments and adhering to safety regulations.

Education:
Applicants should possess an Associate's degree in an Engineering discipline, with military technical training or relevant field experience considered as equivalent qualifications.
