POSITION OVERVIEW

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is looking for a dedicated Compliance Administrator to join our team. This role offers a unique chance to assist individuals attending institutions recognized by the State Board of Private Licensed Schools, focusing on postsecondary vocational training providers. As a Compliance Administrator, you will engage in statewide travel to address student grievances, perform site evaluations, and ensure adherence to the Private Licensed Schools Act and related regulations designed to safeguard students.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

In your capacity as a Compliance Administrator, you will undertake the following key responsibilities:

  • Implement the requirements of the Private Licensed Schools Act.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into student complaints and unlicensed activities.
  • Carry out in-person assessments of educational institutions.
  • Present findings to the Board for review and decision-making.
  • Serve as a liaison for the Board's Review and Recommendation Panel.
  • Facilitate requests for hearings as necessary.

WORK SCHEDULE AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Employment Type: Full-time

  • Standard working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including a 30-minute lunch break.
  • Travel across the state is a requirement for this role.
  • Telecommuting: There may be opportunities for part-time telecommuting, with at least one office visit per month. A secure high-speed internet connection is necessary for remote work.
  • Compensation: Starting salary may be fixed in certain instances.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience as an Education Administration Associate; or
  • Four years of professional experience in the education sector, including at least two years in an administrative capacity; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

  • Applicants must meet the residency requirements of Pennsylvania.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions is required.
