Overview

The Store Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in energizing and guiding the team to meet productivity objectives. This position involves assessing market dynamics and historical performance to formulate strategies aimed at enhancing sales performance. The manager will oversee a diverse team, including Assistant Managers, Head Clerks, Receiving Managers, and Sales Associates, while also managing payroll budgets and controlling store expenses to ensure financial targets are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees all aspects of store operations
  • Creates an inviting atmosphere for customers by actively engaging and addressing their needs
  • Exemplifies expected behaviors for team members, including driving sales, managing complex transactions, overseeing cash handling, inventory management, and customer follow-up
  • Maintains a strong leadership presence in the store, ensuring exceptional service for all customers
  • Ensures compliance with company standards regarding store and employee presentation
  • Plans and adjusts staffing schedules to optimize sales opportunities
  • Regularly reviews payroll to maintain appropriate staffing levels
  • Coordinates and implements merchandising strategies, promotional campaigns, and sales initiatives promptly
  • Provides real-time coaching to team members, offering constructive feedback
  • Utilizes company resources to identify improvement opportunities and develop actionable plans
  • Ensures staff are well-trained in customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures
  • Evaluates and manages employee performance through ongoing feedback, coaching, and formal reviews
  • Forecasts business performance with a focus on productivity to achieve sales targets
  • Enforces all company policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and security
  • Controls store expenses to align with budgetary constraints, identifying areas for increased profitability
  • Manages inventory shrinkage effectively
  • Maintains regular communication with the District Manager to discuss business strengths, opportunities, and trends
  • Identifies community engagement opportunities to drive customer traffic
  • Collaborates with corporate personnel to enhance sales, promote product categories, and explore new markets
  • Fosters customer loyalty and builds relationships within the local community
  • Ensures accuracy in pricing, signage, and product displays
  • Oversees timely receipt of vendor deliveries and stock replenishment on the sales floor
  • Monitors inventory levels consistently

Compensation

Gopuff/Bevmo offers competitive compensation based on market rates, which may vary by location. The salary range for this position is reflective of the local cost of labor.

Orange County, CA: $54,000 - $90,600

The salary range represents our expectations for candidates. Starting pay will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.
