We are seeking a Pediatric Palliative Care Physician to enhance the expanding Supportive Care program at Children's Health of Orange County. This program provides comprehensive physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support for pediatric patients and their families, with a focus on enhancing quality of life, managing symptoms, and providing end-of-life care when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will deliver compassionate and high-quality care to pediatric patients, ranging from newborns to young adults, who are facing complex medical and surgical challenges. Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to palliative care medicine and a desire to contribute to the advancement of our program. Required qualifications include:
- A valid California medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics
- Completion of a fellowship in pediatric or adult palliative care (preferred)
- Current California DEA certificate
- Current PALS certification
