Position Overview:
At American Career College, we are seeking a dedicated Campus Registrar who will play a vital role in overseeing the management and integrity of student academic records. This position is essential for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining high standards of service within our educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary custodian of student academic records for the designated campus.
- Regularly update and maintain the computerized student information system, ensuring adherence to accreditation and regulatory compliance standards.
- Process updates and maintain accurate records of student statuses, including withdrawals, leaves of absence, and graduations.
- Ensure that all student and administrative files are organized and stored according to established policies.
- Conduct thorough reviews and audits of student files to confirm that all necessary documentation is complete and secure.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two to three years of experience in a college records office, focusing on transcript evaluation, degree audits, and student record management.
- Familiarity with secondary and postsecondary educational programs.
- Understanding of state, federal, and accreditation regulations relevant to educational compliance.
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate degree in Education Administration, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
