Position OverviewAs a Senior Associate in our Real Estate Tax Practice, you will participate in the tax planning and advisory processes for a diverse array of real estate clients.
In this role, you can anticipate:
- Reviewing and preparing tax documentation;
- Collaborating with the engagement team to identify and analyze intricate client issues and propose solutions;
- Drafting detailed technical tax memoranda;
- Providing regular updates to clients;
- Assisting in the management of compliance and consulting projects;
- Supervising, training, and mentoring Associates and Interns;
- Receiving formal corporate tax training, on-the-job guidance, direct feedback from leading tax professionals, and opportunities for further training through internal and external resources.
Compensation and Benefits
Our firm provides a competitive base salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and a discretionary bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics as per established guidelines. Employees (and their families) enjoy coverage through medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Enrollment in our firm's 401(k) plan is available upon hire. QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline;
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience;
- Strong leadership and organizational capabilities;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal;
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities;
- Self-motivated with the initiative to pursue opportunities and thrive in a dynamic environment;
- Proficient in technology, including MS Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced credentials or a desire to obtain advanced credentials for IRS client representation (e.g., CPA, MAcc, MST, JD);
- Experience with GoSystems and ProSystems.
