Key Responsibilities:

  1. Articulate the vision for underwriting and onboarding products, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  2. Identify, prioritize, and communicate project goals across short, mid, and long-term timelines.
  3. Engage with stakeholders to discern needs and implement necessary adjustments.
  4. Oversee and provide transparency regarding the product backlog and roadmap.
  5. Establish trustworthy and reputable partnerships with third-party vendors.
  6. Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory standards, maintaining a zero-tolerance policy for breaches.
  7. Facilitate discussions with engineering teams to guide product development.
  8. Collaborate across various functions, including Risk, Legal, and Finance.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in banking or finance-related sectors (e.g., loans, payments, banking).
  2. Over 10 years of experience with technical products (e.g., platforms, distributed systems, data science, machine learning).
  3. At least 2 years of experience in managing personnel and cross-functional teams.
  4. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and understand their business requirements.
  5. Experience in translating business needs into clear and actionable functional requirements.
  6. Ability to define, document, and validate user requirements through use cases, user stories, or similar methodologies.
  7. Demonstrated project management capabilities, managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet team needs.
  8. Structured approach to backlog prioritization.
  9. Adherence to standard operating procedures throughout the development process, ensuring all project work is documented and organized.
  10. Proficient in building partnerships across different functions.
  11. Fluency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with underwriting processes and a solid understanding of the credit lifecycle.
  2. Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks within the financial industry.
  3. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
