Business Development Manager II

Join EVONA, a leading small satellite manufacturer and mission services provider, in its quest for excellence in the aerospace industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager II to drive our spacecraft product line forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage capture and proposal campaigns, ensuring seamless coordination with the Business Development team.
  • Evaluate RFI/RFP requirements and develop effective strategies for competitive responses.
  • Successfully manage cross-functional teams to deliver timely, high-quality proposals that meet customer needs.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, working closely with product and engineering teams to provide accurate information.
  • Support both spacecraft and component product lines, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track contracts and facilitate a smooth transition of new contracts to product teams.
  • Foster strong relationships with key decision-makers and ensure effective information sharing across teams.
  • Continuously seek improvements in the capture process and proposal bid strategies to drive business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4-5+ years of relevant experience, with technical experience considered in lieu of education.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with the RFP/RFI process and creating compelling proposal content.
  • Familiarity with program management, cost, and technical concepts for proposals.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is highly desired.
