Job Description and Duties

This position is located in a remote work environment, providing technical and clerical support to the Department of Rehabilitation team. Under the general supervision of the Team Manager, Staff Services Manager I, the Office Technician (General) will independently provide specialized duties related to the vocational rehabilitation services delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and clerical support to the Team Manager and the VRSD team.
  • Perform specialized duties related to the vocational rehabilitation services delivery process.
  • Assist eligible individuals in achieving their employment goals by providing training, assistive technology, supported employment, and job placement support.
  • Conduct eligibility determinations for applicants for services and direct post-employment services for individuals who find jobs as a result of DOR services.
  • Provide services to consumers of the Department of Rehabilitation in a hybrid format, inclusive of providing direct services both remotely and in person.
  • Work under a flexible schedule and may be required to travel for this position.
Working Conditions:

This position may be eligible for a hybrid telework option upon completion of the probationary period and will be required to report to the office as needed/required.
