About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our donors, while also providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine donor eligibility and conduct medical history interviews
  • Conduct physical examinations and review laboratory test results
  • Manage donor adverse events and provide medical support as needed
  • Collaborate with the Center Physician and Medical Affairs team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, including a graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program
  • Currently licensed or certified as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
  • Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
  • Satisfactorily complete FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
  • Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Ability to fluently and proficiently speak and read in both English and Spanish
