Position Overview:

The Technical Scrum Master will collaborate with product owners, software engineers, and system architects to capture requirements in Jira, encompassing Epics and Tasks. This role is pivotal in facilitating Scrum practices across the broader team, ensuring adherence to the Scrum framework. Proactively identify and mitigate potential obstacles to team performance, including cultural and logistical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and enhance business workflows in partnership with the project team.
  • Work closely with product owners to assist in both short-term and long-term release planning, maintaining a well-organized backlog ready for execution.
  • Facilitate quality assurance and requirements validation by engaging with various stakeholders to understand their needs and offering insights during interviews and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Lead regular Agile ceremonies to foster collaboration, transparency, and innovation, including sprint planning, reviews, and user demonstrations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a technology-focused professional setting.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Requirements Analyst or Scrum Master within an Agile framework.
  • Proficient in using requirements management tools such as Jira, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience supporting Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Strong understanding of requirements management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technology field.
  • Certification in IC Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with requirements traceability matrices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to provide technical support to IT development teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Certifications such as Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

The salary for this position is influenced by various factors, including location, education, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this role is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 annually.
