Disability Employment Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Disability Employment Support Professional to join our team at Disability Solutions. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing in achieving their employment goals and ensuring successful outcomes in inclusive workplaces.
About the RoleIn this challenging and rewarding role, you will assess the skills, abilities, and employment goals of job seekers, provide intensive training, and offer ongoing support to ensure job retention and career advancement. You will also work closely with employers to create inclusive workplaces and provide education, consultation, and/or training to ensure equal access for individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities- Assess the skills, abilities, and employment goals of job seekers who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Provide intensive hands-on, one-on-one training as the individual becomes increasingly more competent performing job requirements.
- Develop and implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) to outline goals, objectives, and methods of evaluating goal attainment.
- Collect data and submit reports in accordance with specific requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Human Services, Social Work, or Deaf Education.
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with deaf culture.
- Proven experience in employment services, vocational rehabilitation, or related fields supporting individuals with disabilities.
This is a competitive opportunity with a salary range of $68,000 - $78,000 per year, depending on experience.
