Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Developmental Disabilities Support Specialist to join our team at the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, and have at least one year of experience providing support coordination or case management services to individuals with IDD. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively engaging with clients and collaborating with service providers.

The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test, and employment reference checks.

About the Position

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $49,612 and a comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, a Flexible Spending Account, Competitive Salary, Paid Time Off, and the Virginia Retirement System.

You will work closely with individuals with IDD, utilizing your expertise as a Support Coordinator or Case Manager to provide essential support and services to help them reach their full potential.
