Senior Internal Audit Specialist

As a Senior Internal Audit Specialist, you will deliver valuable insights by assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute audit plans and compile reports for management regarding risk audit outcomes.
• Provide actionable recommendations for enhancements and engage in Sarbanes-Oxley initiatives.
• Conduct audit projects and consulting assignments following established methodologies and within allocated timeframes.
• Independently prepare audit documentation adhering to the standards set by the Institute of Internal Auditors and our department.
• Participate actively in the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases of audit engagements.
• Identify audit challenges and root causes, propose improvements, and ensure management develops and implements corrective action plans.
• Present the findings of audit and consulting projects through written reports and oral presentations to management.
Utilize Your Expertise to Make a Difference
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing or consulting.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
• Capability to prioritize tasks and projects while maintaining a focus on overarching goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CFE, or PMP.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in Data Analytics/Business Intelligence is advantageous, with familiarity in tools like PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, R, and Python.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or expertise in Process Improvement and Quality Control.
