Position Summary:

We are in search of an Internal Audit Intern to contribute part-time this fall. This role is ideal for individuals eager to gain practical experience within a vibrant corporate audit environment of a publicly traded entity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to learn, problem-solving skills, and an interest in exploring the field of internal auditing through financial and IT audit initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

As an intern, you will work closely with seasoned internal audit professionals, gaining insights into various business functions through audit and advisory projects. This position offers more than theoretical knowledge; it provides hands-on experience that is invaluable for your career development. You will collaborate with CPAs, auditors, IT developers, and engineers, helping you refine your career goals.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, with a strong academic performance reflecting a solid work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A passion for problem-solving, with the ability to analyze and interpret data, accounting, and IT concepts to report meaningful financial information.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized, valuing effective project management.
  • At least a junior standing in your academic program and/or completion of Principles of Accounting.
