Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Urologist to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a faculty member in the Department of Surgery, you will be responsible for providing clinical services, teaching, and research in the field of urology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services in urology, including endourology, nephrolithiasis, and BPH
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate students in urology and applied anatomy and physiology
  • Conduct research in clinical trials and develop a service line for endourology
  • Serve on departmental and university committees
Requirements
  • Board certification in urology or board eligibility
  • Dedication to teaching and mentoring
  • Experience working in a diverse environment or commitment to fostering diversity
  • Commitment to laboratory and/or clinical research
Preferred Qualifications
  • Endourology fellowship training or equivalent experience
  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Additional experience in quality and education

This is an open rank, collateral, non-tenure track faculty position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a busy patient-centered clinical practice and contribute to the growth of the VCU Division of Urology.
