The Document Preparation Specialist will play a crucial role in preparing documents for scanning, ensuring they meet client specifications and requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare documents for scanning using imaging software and hardware.
- Remove staples, paper clips, and fix creased documents, handle receipts, and insert barcodes and separator sheets as needed.
- Organize documents correctly for scanning based on client specifications.
- Transport boxes to and from the warehouse and/or document cart.
- Use job tracking software to initiate work and track daily tasks.
- Oversee the quality of prepared files based on written instruction.
- Strong working knowledge of most projects and tasks.
- Experience working as a Document Preparation Technician.
- Basic understanding of job set-ups in imaging software.
- Ability to identify and escalate issues or concerns related to each project.
- Maintain a high level of quality and efficiency by meeting all productivity and quality metrics.
- Ability to lift and carry a 30-pound box a short distance.
- Strong computer skills required.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The team member must occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
