Job Overview

Company: Heartland Automotive, LLC

Position: Forklift Operator

Role Summary: Responsible for operating an industrial forklift to facilitate various material handling tasks. Certification for forklift operation is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport materials to and from designated areas
  • Review production schedules and shipping documentation
  • Utilize protective materials to ensure load security
  • Remove packaging materials post-delivery
  • Dispose of waste materials appropriately
  • Report any issues related to materials and transportation
  • Maintain equipment and communicate any operational challenges
  • Scan products for shipping or receiving purposes
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned

Required Competencies:

  • Task Prioritization Skills
  • Adaptability in Task Completion
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 Year Experience as a Forklift Operator
  • Minimum of 1 Year Experience in a Warehouse Environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to Stand, Walk, Sit, Talk, and Hear
  • Work Environment is Not Climate-Controlled
  • May Require Lifting and/or Moving Up to 50 Pounds Regularly
