Material Handling Specialist

Position: Forklift Operator
Role Summary: Responsible for operating an industrial forklift to facilitate various material handling tasks. Certification for forklift operation is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport materials to and from designated areas
- Review production schedules and shipping documentation
- Utilize protective materials to ensure load security
- Remove packaging materials post-delivery
- Dispose of waste materials appropriately
- Report any issues related to materials and transportation
- Maintain equipment and communicate any operational challenges
- Scan products for shipping or receiving purposes
- Carry out additional duties as assigned
Required Competencies:
- Task Prioritization Skills
- Adaptability in Task Completion
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 Year Experience as a Forklift Operator
- Minimum of 1 Year Experience in a Warehouse Environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to Stand, Walk, Sit, Talk, and Hear
- Work Environment is Not Climate-Controlled
- May Require Lifting and/or Moving Up to 50 Pounds Regularly
