Position Overview:

The Bilingual Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering accurate, timely, and relevant information to members, customers, patients, and providers. This position involves providing advanced support for member inquiries and issues while fostering strong relationships with current and prospective members in line with compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle member inquiries related to various services including facility inquiries, web support, order ID cards, and complaints.
  • Assist with eligibility inquiries, benefit questions, and premium billing issues.
  • Document all incoming communications to assess their nature and respond to complex queries effectively.
  • Promote exceptional customer service by adhering to the organization's commitment to quality relations.
  • Collaborate with health plan personnel to gather necessary information for resolving member concerns.
  • Maintain compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations while ensuring the security of organizational assets.
  • Complete all required training and utilize available tools to assist members effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is mandatory.
  • Local residency within the designated area is required.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and late shifts is essential.
  • Previous experience in a call center environment is necessary, with a minimum of two years in customer service.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with systems used within the organization.
  • Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
