Position Overview

The Senior Customer Support Specialist will oversee the initiation of all claims through Primerica Life and National Benefit Life, including TIAB and waiver of premium claims received via phone or written communication. This role will involve liaising with legal representatives, regulatory bodies, law enforcement, policyholders, beneficiaries, and collateral assignees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research on policy and premium concerns related to the claims adjudication process.
  • Assist in the processing of claim payments efficiently.
  • Manage the sorting, matching, and distribution of all incoming and outgoing correspondence within the department.
  • Uphold confidentiality standards while handling sensitive life claims.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in telephone customer service.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • The capability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Proficient typing, spelling, and computer skills.
  • Familiarity with various software and database systems.

Remote Work Requirements

  • Personal Computer or Laptop (PC or MAC)
  • Windows 10 compatible (not Windows 7, 8, or 9)
  • Chromebooks are not permitted.
  • Internet speed requirements: Upload speed of 8mbps and Download speed of 15mbps.
