About the Role

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer Level 2 to contribute to our diverse projects across various sectors, including marine, oil & gas, defense, civil engineering (movable bridges), and industrial power units. Each project presents unique challenges, allowing you to engage in problem-solving that directly impacts our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems, instruments, and electrical systems tailored for marine, defense, oil & gas, and industrial applications.
  • Create and evaluate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout designs.
  • Integrate electrical systems with hydraulic controls and other operational systems.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure cohesive system integration.
  • Oversee activities to align with functional specifications and client expectations.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Stay informed on advancements in electrical engineering and apply new technologies.
  • Utilize engineering design software for project tasks.
  • Provide technical support for operations, application development, and marketing efforts.

Additional Duties:

  • Select electrical components and supervise layout designs.
  • Assist in product regulatory certification processes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in quality management initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an ABET accredited institution.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • Familiarity with marine electrical systems and ISO 9001 standards is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel and Word for data analysis.
  • Interest in analog circuit design and practical electronic circuit work.
  • Ability to tackle practical challenges and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
