McCullers Group is expanding, managing a diverse portfolio of multi-use sports and recreation facilities, entertainment venues, and commercial mixed-use development projects.

We are looking for a qualified individual to join our team as a Construction Project Coordinator (CPC) to support project management and owner's representative initiatives.

About the Position:


The Project Coordinator will primarily focus on project management and owner's representation for multi-use sports and recreation facilities, entertainment venues, and adjacent commercial mixed-use developments, with a key emphasis on ensuring projects are well-organized and remain on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction sector, driving efficiency and results through effective coordination and administration of projects from preconstruction to close-out.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Construction Manager/VP of Project Management with planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating construction projects on a national scale.
  • Manage Project Management software and information databases, ensuring data is entered accurately and promptly.
  • Support the Construction Manager/VP of Project Management in awarding construction contracts to general contractors, vendors, consultants, and architects.
  • Help define the scope of work and objectives for each project, including creating and reporting preliminary budgets and schedules for new construction projects.
  • Ensure timely responses and accuracy of approved proposals from architects, engineers, consultants, and vendors.
  • Maintain constant and accurate communication regarding various construction projects among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as an independent contact with owners, clients, architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate with the Construction Manager/VP of Project Management to review project schedules, criteria, compliance, quality of work, and punch lists to ensure closure of all items.
  • Review change orders and invoices for accuracy before submitting them to the Construction Manager/VP of Project Management for payment approval.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist in coordinating the construction management process, assessing project scope through surveys and deal documents.
  • Identify and assist in procuring fixtures, millwork, supplies, and signage as needed for new projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments in the home office.
  • Maintain business relationships with vendors, consultants, architects, and suppliers.
  • Contribute to design and construction objectives for each project.
  • Properly authorize, store, file, and account for all critical construction documents in Project Management software systems.
  • Utilize best practices, techniques, and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with team members to ensure projects are on track by using job tracking systems and other available resources.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure construction aligns with approved design documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Construction Manager/VP of Project Management.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Act as a liaison between ownership entities, vendors, contractors, and architects.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Project Management software like Procore.
  • Familiarity with Northspyre project management software is a plus.
