ABOUT US
For nearly 70 years, Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) has been driven by individuals who have established a reputation for executing high-profile, complex projects. We create real, impactful structures that transform environments and enhance lives. More importantly, we have built a reputation for integrity. We are problem solvers and innovators. We are collaborative team members and prioritize safety. Our commitment to doing the right thing is unwavering, even when unobserved. Our work is significant, but our approach is paramount.

THE DATA CENTER DIVISION
We construct mission-critical data centers across the U.S. to ensure vital information accessed by millions remains secure and available. For over two decades, CEI has designed, installed, and commissioned more than 11.5 million square feet of data center space, totaling $2.3 billion in electrical systems.

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Construction Project Coordinator who is ready to engage directly in project activities—providing daily support to field operations, project management, and client teams. Our Project Coordinators play a crucial role in maintaining workflow and assist in implementing project strategies. This position will involve tasks such as coordinating material delivery schedules, managing Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change order documentation, and serving as a primary contact for internal stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE
You are eager and enthusiastic about learning, with a consistent focus on developing a growth mindset. You possess a diverse skill set, ranging from organizational abilities to effective communication across various platforms, and you thrive in collaborative environments. You are proactive and take ownership of your responsibilities. You are also prepared to don safety gear and personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed—safety is our priority.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO GAIN
At Cupertino Electric, you will embark on a career development journey towards project management. You will work closely with a project manager or project executive within a team that collaborates with field, engineering, and design professionals. A deep understanding of electrical construction is not mandatory; a willingness to learn and enthusiasm for the field are essential. You will have the chance to absorb knowledge from all team members—from journeymen to general foremen to project teams assigning daily tasks. In addition to hands-on experience and mentorship from colleagues, you will participate in vendor off-site training, educational classes, and various learning opportunities.

Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Licensure/Certifications: No specific certifications are required.

Experience: No prior construction or related experience is required. A minimum of two years of construction or related experience is preferred.

Driving Record: A valid state-issued driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are required.
