ABOUT US
For nearly 70 years, Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) has been driven by individuals who have established a reputation for executing high-profile, complex projects. We create real, tangible outcomes that transform environments and enhance lives. More importantly, we have built a reputation for integrity. We are problem solvers and innovators. We are collaborative team members and prioritize safety. We consistently uphold our values, even when no one is watching. What we do is significant, but how we conduct ourselves is paramount.

OUR DATA CENTER TEAM
We construct mission-critical data centers across the U.S. to ensure that essential information accessed by millions remains accessible and secure. For over two decades, CEI has designed, installed, and commissioned more than 11.5 million square feet of data center space, totaling $2.3 billion in electrical systems.

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Construction Project Coordinator who is ready to be actively involved in project execution—providing daily support to field operations, project management, and client teams. Our Project Coordinators play a crucial role in maintaining workflow and assist in the implementation of project strategies. This position will entail specific responsibilities such as coordinating material delivery schedules, managing Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change order documentation, and serving as a primary contact for internal stakeholders.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
You are eager and enthusiastic about learning—with a consistent focus on fostering a growth mindset. You possess a diverse skill set, from being well-organized to effectively communicating through various channels and collaborating with team members. You are comfortable taking initiative and owning your responsibilities. You are also prepared to wear safety gear and prioritize safety protocols.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
At Cupertino Electric, you will embark on a career development journey towards project management. You will work closely with a project manager or project executive within a team that collaborates with field, engineering, and design professionals. A deep understanding of electrical construction is not required; what matters is your readiness to learn and your enthusiasm for the field. You will have the chance to gain insights from everyone you interact with—from journeymen to general foremen and project teams assigning daily tasks. In addition to hands-on experience and mentorship from colleagues, you will participate in vendor off-site training, educational classes, and other learning opportunities.

Licensure/Certifications: No specific certifications required.

Experience: No prior construction or related experience is required. Two years of construction or related experience is preferred.
