Dispatch Operations Manager

The Dispatch Supervisor is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the work of dispatchers and ensuring that all dispatch operations are carried out efficiently and effectively. This position requires a strong leader who can motivate and guide a team to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that all dispatch operations are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and lead a team of dispatchers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Responsible for maintaining all dispatch team KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance performance.
- Perform both new and refresher training for all dispatch team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Create and maintain dispatcher schedules in accordance with company policies, ensuring that all dispatch operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate with field workers, customers, and homeowners to provide information necessary to complete field work, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
- Provide support with troubleshooting, providing as-builds, directions to a location, and plant fiber information, ensuring that all dispatch operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Receive close-out information from the field and input the work information into various databases to fully close out each location, ensuring that all dispatch operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain and update various databases, ensuring that all dispatch operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers to assist assigned department/project, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
- Read, interpret, and input data in support of an assigned department/project, ensuring that all dispatch operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate with PMO to keep training and documentation up to date, ensuring that all dispatch operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- To be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
- Proficient in the use of office hardware and software (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.).
- Excellent Customer Service skills and strong English language skills both oral and written.
- Work safely, with or without supervision.
- Read, understand, interpret, input and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and completeness.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to organize workload to determine priority of duties.
- Communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed.
- The ability to effectively function in a high-stress environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Two years of related work experience.
- Must be available to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time, while using repetitive and/or fine hand movements to complete computer-related tasks and/or other office functions.
- Work is performed indoors and in a typical office environment.
