About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director to help drive the company's revenue growth at Sorenson Capital. In this key position, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales process, and building strong relationships with key clients.

You will work closely with the executive team to align sales initiatives with overall business goals and ensure the achievement of sales targets. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing sales team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with the company's vision and business objectives.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to closing deals and post-sale follow-up, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company's market presence and customer base.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximize revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and optimize sales processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze sales performance data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and drive business development.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the sustainability and growth of the sales function.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales (experience in a leadership role managing a sales team is a plus).
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans that align with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships across the organization.
  • Proficiency in sales methodologies, CRM systems, and sales analytics tools.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively to achieve organizational goals.
  • Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
