Job Description

Stanford University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Director to lead our Executive Education marketing efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives enrollment, enhances brand visibility, and fosters the growth and success of our executive education programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Develop a clear and compelling marketing narrative that aligns with the overall goals and mission of Stanford University and the Graduate School of Business.
  • Strategic Planning: Create and implement integrated marketing strategies that inspire and maximize reach, efficiency, impact, and enrollments.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to driving both marketing initiatives and sales budgets.
  • Team Management: Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing and sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree and ten years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing and sales strategies.
  • Skills: Highly collaborative approach, strong analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a growth mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership Experience: 8+ years leading a marketing and/or sales organization.
  • Industry Experience: Professional experience in executive education.
  • Advanced Degree: Advanced degree in Marketing or Business.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: $200,000 to $265,000 per year.
