Position Overview

At Trunk Tools, we are revolutionizing the expansive $13 trillion+ construction sector. Our remarkable team comprises seasoned entrepreneurs united by a common goal: to automate the construction process. With a founding team that includes experts from SpaceX, Stanford, MIT, and Carta, we have successfully developed and implemented software solutions for over 140,000 users, along with millions in adjacent industries, contributing to projects valued at over $2 billion. Our team is deeply rooted in the construction industry, distinguishing us from typical tech startups.

Having dedicated the past few years to creating the core technology for construction, we are now launching various workflows and agents, starting with a Q&A document chatbot, to integrate seamlessly into construction teams' operations, ultimately aiming to automate the construction workflow. Due to our significant traction with numerous Fortune 500 construction firms, we are expanding our team to deploy additional agents this year. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence the transformation of a multi-trillion-dollar industry characterized by inefficiencies and risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research: Execute comprehensive market analysis to uncover trends, customer requirements, and the competitive landscape within the construction technology domain.
  • Product Positioning: Craft and enhance product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with our target demographic, emphasizing the unique advantages of our offerings.
  • Market Entry Strategy: Support the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and updates, collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and engineering.
  • Content Development: Create high-quality marketing materials, such as case studies, whitepapers, product videos, and blog articles, to bolster sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Customer Interaction: Design and implement customer engagement strategies, including user conferences, webinars, and other events to cultivate a robust community around our products.
  • Performance Measurement: Analyze and report on the success of product marketing efforts, utilizing data to refine and enhance strategies.
Candidate Profile
  • Experienced Professional: A minimum of 5 years in product marketing, particularly with B2B SaaS solutions. Familiarity with construction technology is highly advantageous.
  • Strategic Thinker: Comfortable with both strategic planning and tactical execution, demonstrating a successful history of product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Customer-Focused: Committed to understanding customer needs and challenges, with the ability to tailor messaging and strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit, thriving in a cross-functional setting while working closely with product, sales, and engineering teams.
  • Data-Driven: Analytical mindset with a strong ability to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adapt strategies based on insights.
  • Innovative Thinker: Creative approach to problem-solving, continuously seeking new methods to engage customers and differentiate our products in the marketplace.
