  • Guide and mentor junior civil engineers across various projects.
  • Coordinate with public and private utilities regarding relocations and system maintenance during construction.
  • Review design documents, calculations, models, technical specifications, and cost estimates to ensure compliance with client standards and industry best practices.
  • Prepare engineering reports and technical studies, including Basis of Design documents, to support project approvals.
  • Collaborate with team members, other disciplines, and subconsultants.
  • Conduct field investigations and provide support during the construction phase.
  • Contribute to project scheduling, scope definition, budgeting, and staffing assignments.
Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Demonstrated success in delivering work products on time, within budget, and adhering to project scope.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, reliable, and organized with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both office and virtual settings.
  • Familiarity with MassDOT, Massport, and DoD design standards is a plus.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Pipe Networks.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Collector, and AutoCAD BIM for Utility Infrastructure is advantageous.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Massachusetts.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in utility system design, with project management experience being a plus.

This position primarily involves working in an office or virtual environment, with some fieldwork required.
