The Kitchen Sanitation Specialist will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our establishment. This role typically involves working either the first or second shift, averaging 32 hours per week. Key responsibilities include punctuality, assisting kitchen staff as required, and adhering to all health and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a customer-centric approach in all tasks
  • Operate the dishwasher efficiently, including loading, running, and unloading
  • Perform hand washing of specific items when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment
  • Regularly empty and clean trash bins in the kitchen area
  • Daily cleaning of beverage machines
  • Organize and clean dish storage areas
  • Strictly follow sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Assist prep cooks and other kitchen personnel during busy periods
  • Clear tables as needed
  • Carry out opening, closing, and side tasks
  • Promptly clean up spills or broken glass
  • Sweep and mop both kitchen and dining areas
  • Report any sanitation or cleanliness concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Participate in all scheduled staff meetings and contribute suggestions for improvements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
