Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling office appointments, endoscopy procedures, and other examinations and procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating current patient information, processing chart, and collecting co-payments and patient payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets patients and visitors in a courteous and empathetic manner.
  • Coordinates and schedules office appointments, endoscopy procedures, and other examinations and procedures.
  • Maintains and updates current patient information.
  • Processes chart, including but not limited to: prepares registration forms, scans photo (when applicable), insurance cards and photo identification into patient account.
  • Collects co-payments and patient payments.
  • Ensures office and procedure schedule gaps are filled on a daily basis utilizing computerized waiting list.
  • Maintains timely flow of patients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous medical reception, scheduling, and/or customer service experience preferred.
