Treatment Specialist

Join our team at the Christian Children's Home of Ohio as a Treatment Specialist. In this role, you will develop and model healthy connections and relationships with children aged 6-18 who have experienced trauma. Your primary responsibility will be to provide care and supervision to our youth residents, both individually and in groups. This may involve helping them prepare for and engage in daily educational and therapeutic activities, as well as offering guidance and redirection. You will also participate in recreational activities, arts and crafts, meal times, and movie nights. Additionally, you will be responsible for answering questions, receiving hugs, and participating in field trips to local attractions. Responsibilities:
  • Provide care and supervision to youth residents
  • Develop and model healthy connections and relationships with children
  • Participate in recreational activities and arts and crafts

Requirements:
  • Age 21+ required by State of Ohio
  • High school diploma or GED required by State of Ohio
  • Previous experience with children preferred, but not required
  • Valid Ohio driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to maintain compliance with CCHO's requirements for using physical restraints
