About the Role:

The Treatment Specialist at Christian Children's Home of Ohio provides care and supervision to youth residents individually and in groups. This includes helping with daily educational and therapeutic activities, offering guidance and redirection, and participating in recreational activities such as arts and crafts, meal times, and movie nights.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to CCHO's statement of faith and code of conduct
  • Provide supervision, limit setting, and participate in weekly team meetings
  • Transport residents to scheduled appointments
  • Utilize Safe Crisis Management (SCM) de-escalation and restraint techniques when needed
  • Maintain child and campus safety at all times
  • Complete necessary paperwork and participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Age 21+ required by State of Ohio
  • High school diploma or GED required by State of Ohio
  • Previous experience with kids preferred, but not required
  • Valid Ohio driver's license, with driving record that is insurable on agency policy

Additional Information:

Candidates must be 21 or older to apply. References, background checks, and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates. Must have valid Ohio Driver's License and maintain a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable. EOE.
