Job Summary

H2M Architects and Engineers is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative support to the HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of the corporate HR Department and will be responsible for the execution of various HR-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to employee inquiries and route requests to appropriate resources in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process various forms related to documenting human resources activities, including new-hire onboarding, change-of-status, benefits, and termination of employment.
  • Maintain employee records for completeness and accuracy, inputting and validating employment and personal data into the HRIS database.
  • Generate employee documents for onboarding, changes, and termination processes.
  • Assist employees with verifications of employment and basic benefit and policy questions.
  • Support the HR team with new hire orientations, new hire paperwork administration, employee surveys, acquisitions, and other HR-related initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support to HR employee engagement programs, employee events, and other initiatives.
  • Assist the HR team with various HR projects, compliance reports, and analytics.
  • Identify opportunities for best practices and process improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge of general legal landscape relating to HR and H2M's policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and demonstrate a strong ethical commitment to the Human Resources profession.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related field.
  • 1-3 years of HR or related experience, preferably in the service industry or engineering field.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and shift priorities based on business needs.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and handle difficult workplace situations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
