  • Provide leadership for employee relations and labor relations through effective and respectful communications, coaching, training and development, and business partnering.
  • Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
  • Determine operations head count needs and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with company needs for capital investments and improvement projects.
  • Manage compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain ultimate responsibility for the workforce across the shifts.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of experience in industrial or construction environment (steel mill experience preferable)
  • Supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Heavy Mobile Equipment / Mining Machinery Experience
  • Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations and ability to implement related programs and controls.
  • Ability to understand financial data.

  • Bachelor's degree
