As a highly skilled Financial Administrator at the Diocese of Allentown, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our organization.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll, managing accounts receivable and payable, and maintaining accurate financial records. This includes preparing and submitting reports to the diocesan office, as well as consulting with the Principal and School Board Finance Committee on budget development and implementation.

We are looking for an individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sage accounting software, and a strong attention to detail. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a school Bookkeeper/Financial Secretary is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and maintain accurate records
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, including payment processing and journal entries
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including tuition collection and reconciliation
  • Prepare and submit reports to the diocesan office, as well as provide updates to the Principal and School Board
  • Consult with the Principal and School Board Finance Committee on budget development and implementation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a school Bookkeeper/Financial Secretary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sage accounting software
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • A strong attention to detail
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
