About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Facilities Management to join our team at Smith College. As a key member of the Facilities Business Operations team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and administrative oversight to Campus Operations departments.

Your primary focus will be on developing, overseeing, and monitoring the division's capital renewal and replacement budgets in coordination with the College Finance Office. You will also be responsible for managing the annual utility, rental properties, and operating budgets for Facilities & Operations (F&O).

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance, budgeting, and analysis, preferably in a higher education or complex environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, oversee, and monitor the division's capital renewal and replacement budgets in coordination with the College Finance Office.
  • Manage the annual utility, rental properties, and operating budgets for Facilities & Operations (F&O).
  • Oversee property, auto, and liability insurance coverages.
  • Provide financial leadership and administrative oversight to Campus Operations departments.
  • Lead by example in employee relations and engagement.
