The Personal Lines Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining key client and carrier relationships, providing exceptional service to clients, and driving business growth through effective marketing and sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers through regular communication and in-person meetings.
- Provide exceptional service to clients, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work with producers and marketing account executives to monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients, providing analysis and recommendations for coverage needs.
- Coordinate meetings with clients and producers to present renewal options and supporting documents, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare marketing information and provide required data to marketing personnel to support business development efforts.
- Schedule and conduct team meetings with marketing account executives and producers to implement business strategies and drive growth.
- Prepare and deliver all applicable forms to clients, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Develop proficiency in client management systems, updating policies, logging activities, and managing follow-up tasks.
- Provide administrative support on special projects and develop new ideas and services to drive business growth.
- Attend seminars, classes, and carrier meetings to stay up-to-date on new products and legislative changes, enhancing expertise and knowledge.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
- Two years of relevant insurance industry experience.
- Appropriate insurance license - Property & Casualty.
- Strong client relations skills, including excellent communication skills and service orientation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree.
- Certification in the field of endeavor.
- Experience with Requests for Proposal.
