Position Overview:

As a vital member of our Front-End team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers during the checkout process, managing cash register operations, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring the accuracy of pricing and signage.
  • Assist customers during the checkout process, including bagging groceries and handling cash register functions.
  • Maintain proficiency with the Front-End Code Book and PLUs.
  • Demonstrate strong basic math skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet customer service expectations.
  • Follow directions and procedures while managing time effectively.
  • Utilize tools and equipment safely, including box cutters and electric pallet jacks.

Requirements:

  • No prior retail experience is necessary.
  • Ability to work in varying environments, including wet and cold conditions.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
