Job Title: Director for Training and AssessmentJob Summary:

The University of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director for Training and Assessment to join our team. As a key member of the College Houses and Academic Services department, the Director for Training and Assessment will be responsible for overseeing the training and assessment of student residential staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide exceptional support and services to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for student residential staff, including Fall Training in August and Winter Training in January.
  • Design, organize, and coordinate strategic assessment programs, projects, and activities to support the services and programs of College Houses and Academic Services.
  • Support continuous program assessment (curricular and co-curricular activities) and improvement of student learning through consultation, mentoring, and hands-on training.
  • Assist the Senior Director of Housing Operations in supporting the College Houses, including stepping in to support a College House if there is a house director vacancy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • A track record of experience in residential life/housing administration is required.
  • A master's in student affairs administration, higher education, or relevant field is preferred.
