Job Title: Sales Engineer

Knowhirematch is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in St. Louis, MO. As a Sales Engineer, you will be the key point of contact for our customers, providing expert pre-sale technical support and building strong, trust-based relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Relationships: Act as the frontline connection with our customers, leveraging your product knowledge to build lasting relationships based on trust and technical expertise.
  • Pre-Sale Technical Support: Provide top-notch technical support for product and application-related inquiries, helping customers understand and see the value in our offerings.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Application Engineers to assist in the demo process, including building, dispatching, and maintaining demo units to effectively solve customer challenges and demonstrate our products' capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Sales & Engineering Expertise: You're a driven self-starter with at least 5 years of experience in sales and a strong engineering background. While a degree is not required, a deep understanding of our technical products is essential.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with automation products like PLCs, Robotics, Sensors, Thermal Systems, Motion Control, AC Drives, Vision Systems, Bar Code Scanners, and more is highly desirable.
  • Sales Personality: You have an engineering mindset combined with a sales-oriented personality, allowing you to identify opportunities and drive success.

  • Competitive Compensation: Base salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 (negotiable), with unlimited commission potential. Your hard work can lead to total annual earnings ranging from $100,000 to $250,000+.
