Position Overview

This role involves supporting the preparation of preliminary budgets, drafting, estimating, and coordinating the Estimating system, as well as managing job communications and meeting minutes.

Key Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction contracts, plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to enhance relationships and company image.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for customer and product expansion.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Owners, Inspectors, and Subcontractors to meet specifications and code requirements, including attending site inspections as necessary.
  • Prepare detailed job schedules to ensure timely project completion.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, plan, coordinate, and manage all assigned projects within budget constraints.
  • Ensure all project documentation is completed accurately and professionally.
  • Strictly enforce safety, health, and environmental regulations as mandated by government and company standards.
  • Supervise project activities to achieve quality and quantity performance, including on-site training and scheduling.
  • Uphold the company’s reputation through ethical business practices with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and the public.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in Estimating or Project Management.
  • High School diploma with trade or college education in construction management preferred.
  • Preferred: College degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering.
  • Understanding of fabrication and installation processes to meet customer needs effectively.
  • Proficient in business software applications (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
  • A strong moral compass, reflecting our Core Values.
