Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, HVAC design, and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and develop custom HVAC solutions that meet and exceed project specifications.
  • Utilize software tools to select and size components for optimal unit performance.
  • Create technical drawings using AutoCAD to communicate with customers.
  • Analyze mechanical plans and specifications to ensure compliance with industry and regional standards.
  • Develop construction specifications, scope of supply, and exceptions reports.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and performance approximations for equipment designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with new vendor product offerings and support their implementation into XeteX designs.
  • Represent the company at industry events and customer visits.
  • Work from home flexibility once fully onboarded.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred, or prior HVAC equipment experience.
  • 5-10 years of related work experience required.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to travel independently, with infrequent travel less than 10%.
