Position Overview:

As an Employment Support Specialist, you will engage in a professional, one-on-one relationship with clients to help them overcome barriers to securing and maintaining employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain individualized plans to assist clients in achieving their employment goals.
  • Provide thorough case management and ongoing follow-up to ensure client success.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for new clients to familiarize them with available resources.
  • Collaborate with educational institutions, account managers, and leadership to ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Facilitate professional development workshops aimed at enhancing client skills.
  • Maintain an organized database of client information and document all interactions meticulously.
  • Ensure clients adhere to their planned activities as outlined in their agreements.
  • Offer tailored assessments and connect clients with relevant community or social service organizations as needed.
  • Complete all required enrollment documentation accurately.
  • Document all client interactions and ensure follow-up contacts are made as specified.
  • Address and resolve any attendance issues faced by participants.
  • Assist in preparing project reports detailing participation and placement outcomes.
  • Oversee program management, including introductory workshops and weekly sessions, ensuring alignment with predetermined objectives.
  • Work in partnership with the business services team to identify job opportunities and required qualifications.
  • Establish and maintain a communication strategy to keep staff informed of center-wide initiatives and operational goals.
  • Engage in training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and address operational challenges, implementing necessary improvements.
  • Provide operational support as needed and assist with intake services.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational standards and requirements.
  • May be assigned additional tasks related to job responsibilities.
